Our volunteer run non-for-profit organisation provides a unique service in Australia. For nearly 30 years, we have been able to provide low cost and free access to technology, connecting people who qualify for our program.

​

What sets us apart is our community connection, whereby we link members with one of our wonderful volunteers who provide home visits to assist with setting up equipment, and who remain connected to their member through providing ongoing tech support as required. We also replace equipment when things go wrong. We are not aware of any other group in Australia who provide this service.

 

Our ongoing success is due to the very generous donations from individuals and organisations who also see the value in our service.

In addition, our CEO, Richard Stubbs (OAM) received the prestigious award of the Order of Australia in 2008, recognising the tireless effort he has made to the community through BDI.
